I was born and raised on a hardworking family cattle ranch, where long days, early mornings, and real Western work laid the foundation for who I am. Growing up in the saddle and working with livestock taught me responsibility, grit, and the kind of practical skills you only learn from ranch life.

For the past 18 years, I’ve served as a wildland firefighter, spending nearly two decades on the front lines protecting communities and natural landscapes. Those years have taught me how to stay steady, focused, and safety-minded in the toughest backcountry conditions—qualities I bring to every guided hunt.

I’m also a lifelong outdoorsman with a deep passion for hunting Western big game. I’ve spent years studying wildlife behavior, learning the terrain, and exploring the mountains, mesas, and canyons of New Mexico. Starting Hook N 30 Outfitters has been a lifelong dream—one driven by my love for the outdoors and my desire to help others experience it at its very best.
